Since 1930 the university has supported education and research in
acoustics and offers graduate courses and undergraduate courses
devoted to topics in acoustics, supportive supervising faculty and staff
for student research in branches of acoustics and an interdisciplinary
environment that spans engineering, the arts, and the natural
and earth sciences.
